FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONs
Are you a member of a professional body?
Yes, I am a registered member of the BACP and adhere to their code of ethics and guidelines.
How can I be seen?
You just need to send me a message or email and I will come back to you with a time for a FREE consultation call. If my waiting list is full, I’ll let you know when the soonest appointment comes up.
What about confidentiality?
Everything you say is confidential except for concerns relating to safe-guarding. I will go through this with you and it’s clearly explained in my agreement that we sign before starting therapy.
Where will I be seen?
You can book a face-to-face session in The Studio in Cherhill or we can meet remotely on Zoom. Some people do a hybrid of both.
How long will I need therapy for?
It depends on what you need and what you would like. Some people get a lot out of 6 sessions. Others work weekly for a year or more. We will regularly review the process to check that it’s working for you. How much will it cost?
My rate is £60 per session.
I do offer a small number of concession rates for students and those on a low income.
Do you have a cancellation policy?
I ask for 48 hours notice if you know you cannot attend a session. If the cancellation is ‘last-minute', I will try and offer you a replacement slot if I have one.
Will I need to wait to be seen?
I keep a small waiting list but it all depends on your availability.
